Laser Treatment
Laser light activates your body’s natural acne fighting defences, reducing the severity of current and future breakouts.
The cooled laser handpiece will be glided over the treatment area and the laser light will be pulsed into the skin. Some patients say this feels like the snap of an elastic band, slightly more discomfort may be experienced over active acne.
A topical anaesthetic cream can be applied to make treatments more comfortable. Clinical data suggests that most patients find their acne will improve after a minimum of 4 treatments – two a week for two weeks.
Repeated treatments maybe necessary to maintain results. It is advisable to check with your G.P. prior to treatment.
